Like so: ".\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override"
ALL mods that have files that need to be placed in the override folder need to go, without exception, on the override folder in your My Documents library. Is anyone able to help me with this? -where- do i actually put these files so the game works properly. Tales of Symphonia, and Dragon Age: Origins are probably your best bets. I've tried putting the mods in the actual override folder within the bioware path = ditto. 1 ETS2 Others / Euro Truck Simulator 2 mods NEW IMPROVED ECONOMY 1. I've tried putting a folder of my own in the GOG galaxy path and put the mods in there = game crashes to windows on clicking 'new game' I already have to start the game through right clicking the launcher with admin rights straight out of that folder rather than the gog launcher. Rather than the GOG galaxy path: "GOG Galaxy\Games\Dragon age Origins\packages\core\"īUT the designated override folder isn't even present in the GOG galaxy path.
However, the mods concerning (most) cosmetic things like hair, eyes etc require me, according to the readme files and the directions on nexusmods, to put the files in an 'override' folder within 'bioware' path: ".\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override"
MODDING DRAGON AGE ORIGINS INSTALL
The mod manager only recognizes '.dazip' & '.override' extensions and the ones i've managed to install are for late game situations so there's no way for me to test whether or not they actually work right now. I've got the mods from Nexus mods and as they recommended to use their DA mod manager i did. I've tried to install a few mods but been pulling my hair out on getting them to work and at the same time NOT make the game crash when setting up a new game.
